Natalie Smith is a passionate, hardworking and innovative fashion designer with 18+ years experience in women and juniors sportswear design. Throughout her career she has held senior roles in multiple leading brands, including DKNY kids, Sean John Womens and Rocawear; and is most recently senior designer of a private label multi-million dollar business exclusive to Walmart. She has a deep knowledge and love of design, as well as a keen eye for textiles, print, pattern and color, inspired by travel, art and culture.
Her ability to define and advance a creative vision is balanced by a strong business and technical mind. This enables Natalie to meticulously and economically manage the design process from initial concept to production, while inspiring and leading a team to peak performance.
She is known to be resourceful and tenacious, adept at managing a team through tight schedules, coordinating with multiple partners across time zones, and creatively problem solving on the fly to meet deadlines 100% of the time. Across all market ranges, she is always up for the challenge of leveraging her perspective and skillset to bring the product alive for a particular target market/customer.
Natalie is a New Yorker with a strong affinity for travel and street art. From globe-trotting to exploring her local stomping ground of the Lower East Side, there is always inspiration to be found in the most unexpected places.
